The Friends of the Westwood Library will host its annual Spring Book Sale next week at the Westwood Public Library.
Need a great book to relax with at the beach? A new recipe for a backyard family barbecue? Or a "How To" book for that summer project? You will find just what you need at the Library's Spring Book Sale.
The book sale will be held on June 9, 10 and 11. June 9 hours are 1 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., June 10 hours are 10 a.m. – 5:45 p.m. and June 11 hours are 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The Friends of the Westwood Library have been busy all winter sorting, organizing and stacking hundreds of fabulous titles. Favorite categories include: biographies, business, cookbooks, diet-health-fitness, and history.
Not to mention lots and lots of new fiction, bestsellers and classic novels. You and your children will find many treasures among the children and teen literature. There will be something for the whole family and don't forget: books make great gifts.
Money raised through the book sale supports library programs and services, including museum passes, lectures, author visitors, technology upgrade and children's story hours.
The Friends of the Westwood Library is still collecting used book donations for this event. Please drop off your gently used hardcover and paperback books in the vestibule of the Main library.
The Friends also accept CDs and DVDs in excellent condition. Textbooks, dated materials, magazines, audio-cassettes and video cassettes will not be accepted.
