On Tuesday, November 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the Katherine L. Babson Jr. Auditorium, the public is invited to see the award-winning WHS orchestras at their fall concert. The skill and virtuosity of these students is second to none; in fact, last year, the Honors Chamber Orchestra was awarded the state MICCA gold medal, which entitled the ensemble to reprise their performance at Boston’s Symphony Hall in April 2016. At the upcoming concert, the Symphonia and Honors Chamber Orchestra will present works by Bach, Rossini, Telemann, and Tchaikovsky. Classical fans won’t want to miss Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21, featuring orchestra director and conductor Sergey Khanukaev on piano. The performance is free and open to the public.
