May is Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month. The Wellesley Chinese Language School, in partnership with the Wellesley Free Library, New England Chinese American Alliance and the World of Wellesley invites the community to attend "The Importance of Ethnic Studies for Education" Webinar featuring esteemed speaker and award winning author, Min Hyoung Song, Professor of English and Director of the Asian American Studies Program at Boston College. As part of his most recent, published article in The Chronicle of Higher Education, Professor Song will discuss the importance of incorporating Asian American studies into the curriculum of secondary schools and colleges and understanding the rise of rampant racism in the US today.
