Rotarians prepare saplings for Wellesley youths

Every year, the Rotary Club of Wellesley purchases and bags 400 tree saplings for distribution to Wellesley fourth graders.

Susy Jordon, Wellesley Town Horticultural technician, led 15 people in bagging 400 Sweet Gum saplings for distribution to Wellesley fourth graders.

Volunteers Judy Gertler, Raina McManus, Hartney Greymont's Pat Boyle and Kevin Nardonne joined Rotary members Susan Bevilacqua, Cynthia Sibold, Fred Wright, Vin Spoto, Vin Juliani, Tom DeRiemer, Bill Westerman, Michael Price, Paul Simard, John Adams and Frank Rowbotham in setting a new record in bagging the trees in under 50 minutes.
