On May 21, the Wellesley Teen Center, which has been a Wellesley institution for 31 years, held its annual fifth-grade-only event at the Wellesley Middle School. A record high 240 fifth graders were in attendance. The kids danced the night away to the music of DJRJ, played dodgeball, dolled themselves up at the photo booth, and enjoyed Wii and ping pong. Beyond the fun, these fifth graders did a tremendous community service by donating 50 rolls of wrapping paper to Birthday Wishes. The Teen Center would like to wish all of its members a great summer and looks forward to seeing all rising sixth through eighth graders again in September at its beach party themed event.
