This November, the Wellesley Council on Aging offered a brand-new beginner’s pottery class and it was a success. All students enjoyed creating beautiful, decorative pieces that they will forever cherish.
Due to the interest in the class, instructor Ramune Jauniskis is offering six sessions this winter. Ramune is a Wellesley resident and she teaches locally in Needham, Dover, Delmont, Brookline, and Wellesley. Her favorite media are soft sculpture, felting and pottery.
She encourages students to explore their own ideas as well as work on suggested projects that will be demonstrated at the beginning of class. All work will be kiln-fired. To register, call the Wellesley Council on Aging at (781-235-3961). Registration is now open.
