Chamber Players wow Wellesley Neighbors

The Wellesley Chamber Players (WCP) performed a concert at one of the Wellesley Neighbors’ (WN) homes last January. This concert was organized by Maureen Donlon, program coordinator of the Wellesley Neighbors, at the house of Ruth and Will Breden. The program included Mozart’s Sonata for Piano and Violin in D major, K. 306, Beethoven’s Variations for Cello and Piano in E flat major on the theme of “Magic Flute” by Mozart and Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor. The artistic director, Jayoung Kim (piano), was joined by Hudson Chung (violin) and Jiyoung Lee (cello).

The upcoming WCP’s concert is on Sunday, March 4, at 3 p.m. in Beveridge Hall at Dana Hall School. Zenas Hsu (violin), Sasha Scolnik-Brower (cello) and Jayoung Kim (piano) will perform beautiful Schubert Piano Trio and Schonfeld Cafe Music. As usual, there will be a reception following to meet musicians. Suggested donations are $20 adults, $15 seniors, and $10 students.
