NewLife Home Refurnishing, a non-profit furniture recycling service located in the Walpole Station Business Center, welcomed a volunteer crew from the First Congregational Church in Norwood on Saturday, January 14. The volunteers helped unload furniture and organize it in the NewLife warehouse where families and individuals in need come by referral to choose furnishings for their homes.

NewLife Home Refurnishing accepts “gently used” furniture and household items at its warehouse in Walpole Center at 102 Elm Street on Saturdays from 9-11 a.m. They also welcome tax-deductible donations that will help individuals and families in need, including victims of fires, domestic abuse and homelessness, to create a place they can call home. To date, the nonprofit has served 817 households, consisting of 1,775 individuals, 731 children and 99 veterans.
