United Church in Walpole will be hosting an event for women, “I Arise Today with the strength of my faith-filled voice!,” on Saturday, January 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The leader for the day is Reverend Susie Allen, an authentic and inspiring spiritual director with 15 years experience in leading small groups and retreats.
In Rev. Allen’s words: “‘These times’ in the life of our nation and world can feel distracting, disturbing, demanding, depleting. Come away from the challenges of ‘these times’ to join other women of faith for a day of reflection, creativity, community and worship as we seek to strengthen our voices, our souls, and our intention to bring our voices of faith into the world with confidence.”
All women (inclusive of all who identify as women) in the greater Walpole community are invited to gather for the event. Through scripture, sharing, prayer, reflection, conversation, laughter, and more, attendees will intentionally listen for God’s guidance to strengthen their message and voices.

United Church in Walpole is located at 30 Common Street next to the Post Office. There is plenty of parking in the church parking lots or on the street, with overflow parking available at the neighboring funeral homes.
