Several Blessed Sacrament students and faculty were presented with awards as a part of the school’s celebration of Catholic Schools Week.

Each year during Catholic Schools Week, the St. Francis Award is presented at Blessed Sacrament School in Walpole to one student in each grade, Grade 4-8, along with a staff member. Award recipients are nominated by faculty members for the many ways that they live out the values of our school's patron saint, St. Francis of Assisi.

This year's recipients are Annalise Karamas (Grade 4), Elizabeth Panciocco (Grade 5), Mallory McCaffery (Grade 6), Audrey Leonard (Grade 7), Emily Nelson (Grade 8), and Mrs. Kerry Ferguson (school librarian).

The Russ W. Wilson Power of One Scholarship is also awarded annually at Blessed Sacrament School to a sixth grade student who, through his or her actions, has demonstrated the impact that one person can have on our world. This year's recipient is Laura Carey, a student whose daily small acts of kindness and service have made a big impact on our community.
