Morgan Golf Tournament to benefit Walpole

Help raise funds for the Walpole Scholarship Foundation and play some great golf at the same time! This is a great opportunity to support a local organization, which in turn supports Walpole’s local students.

The annual Joe Morgan Golf Tournament, presented by Walpole Cooperative Bank, will once again benefit the Walpole Scholarship Foundation. It will be held on Monday, October 3 at Walpole Country Club.

It is the largest fundraiser for the volunteer-based foundation, which has awarded over $3.4 million in scholarships to over 3,100 deserving students since its inception 33 years ago.
The registration fee of $225 per player includes golf/cart, driving range, tee prizes, lunch, and dinner reception with a cash bar and auction.

Players may register individually or as a foursome. Sponsorship opportunities also exist with various levels of recognition. To register as a player and/or a sponsor, visit our website at www.walpolescholarshipfoundation.org or contact John Cox at john@thqgolf.com.

We also welcome donations of items/services to add to our auction. For more information, please visit www.walpolescholarshipfoundation.org or contact Denise Lynch at d.lynch25@icloud.com or John Cox at john@thqgolf.com.

The Walpole Scholarship Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, tax-exempt organization founded in 1983 by a small group of concerned citizens from Walpole to assist and encourage students to obtain post-secondary cultural, vocational or professional education.

Besides the Golf Tournament, the Foundation conducts direct mail solicitations in the fall and spring.

Contributions can be made to the general fund or a specific scholarship. Named scholarships can be created for a donation of $1,000 or more for a given year and can become permanent with cumulative donations of $4,000 or greater.

More information may be obtained by visiting the Foundation’s website, www.walpolescholarshipfooundation.org. A charitable contribution in support of the Foundation may be made on the website or by mailing a check payable to Walpole Scholarship Foundation: Walpole Scholarship Foundation, PO Box 58, East Walpole, MA 02032.
