Walpole Recreation celebrated Easter by hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt last Saturday at the fields on Stone Street.
Dozens of kids and families gathered at the fields on Stone Street to participate in Walpole Recreation’s annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Kids with brightly colored and decorated Easter baskets in tow eagerly awaited the start of the hunt to begin searching for the eggs that were scattered throughout the fields. Once the hunts began, kids wasted no time scouring the field for the brightly colored eggs.
The Easter Egg Hunt offered two sessions on Saturday afternoon with waves for the different age groups registered to participate. First, grades pre-K and under took to the field at 3 p.m., and grades K-2 searched for their Easter eggs and prizes at 4 pm.
The Easter Egg Hunt was marked by a special visitor to Walpole as well. The Easter Bunny made the trip to Walpole to help the kids find Easter eggs and pose for photos with children and their families.
