A quilt of valor was made in honor of all our veterans from the Walpole High School class of 1962 that served in the armed services during the Vietnam War era. We recently celebrated our 55th class reunion. The veterans that were in attendance proudly held up the quilt that was made under the watchful eye of Anne Dennehy Lajoie. The quilt will be given to a family of a deceased veteran. Veterans left to right are: Brad Swenson, James McKnight, Edward Kelly, William Jarlis, John Sanzi, Charles Newell, Waren Cottrell, Dennis Naughton,Robert Saunders, and Steven Wood.
