The winds of March will blow harmoniously when The Friends of the Walpole Public Library present the Boston Saxophone Quartet (BSQ) to play on Wednesday evening, March 29, at 7:30 p.m., at the Walpole Public Library, 143 School Street. All are welcome to attend, free of charge.
This versatile group will perform a special selection of wide-ranging music from Classical, Ragtime, and Swing repertoire. Members of the BSQ have performed with the Boston Pops and Boston Symphony Orchestra and leading Broadway theaters throughout New England. The BSQ musicians are proficient on all the woodwinds including flute, clarinet, oboe, and bassoon. The lineup for this concert will consist of Tom Ferrante, soprano sax; Jim Repa, alto sax; Peter Cokkinias, tenor sax; Robert Chadwick, baritone sax.
