Artist Diane S. Scotti will be showing two special exhibits at the Walpole Public Library this month. The first, in the large common room area, is a large-works show of some related and unrelated subjects. Two 3x3-foot canvases of starlings in flight are alongside eggs, which are nestled in their beds of straw.
The second exhibit on display in the front School Street entrance hallway is a 31 Day Challenge. It is a collection of works that have been accumulating in Scotti's studio for quite some time. Having 50-plus pieces of work in assorted mediums, in various stages of completion, Scotti has challenged herself to complete one piece a day for 31 days during the month of October.
The library hours are from 10 to 9 on Monday through Thursday, 10 to 5 on Friday, and 10 to 3 on Saturday.
There will be a “meet the artist” reception on Monday, October 23.
