Rockport artist Chris Coyne will demonstrate watercolor painting at the Walpole Public Library on Monday evening, March 20, at 7:00 p.m. Coyne has a gallery on Bearskin Neck, and many examples of his work, including oils, can be seen at http://fineartamerica.com/artists/chris+coyne.
Christopher J. Coyne was born in 1966 in Hartford, and earned a BA at Connecticut College in 1988. He’s a plein-air painter specializing in landscape and marine paintings from New England, New York, and further afield. He paints primarily outdoors, although he does paint massive in-studio seascapes and village scenes suitable for large walls and corporate galleries/foyers.
Chris is based in Rockport, where he runs his own gallery at 37 Bearskin Neck, open year round, though hours vary – by chance or appointment.
His appearance here is sponsored by the Friends of the Walpole Public Library, so admission is free and all are welcome. More details are available at www.walpolelibraryfriends.org.
