2026 Dog licenses are available at the Town Clerk's Office. The last day to register your dog without a late fee is February 28, 2026. Late fees are $25.00 PER dog.
Dogs may be licensed by mail, in person or on- line. Payments made in person at the Town Clerk’s Office are cash and check only.
When licensing your dog a current rabies certificate with the Veterinarian’s signature is required.
Online payments are available at the Town of Walpole website “Online Payments” section. A current rabies certificate should be emailed to the townclerk@walpole-ma.gov when licensing online.
If you are over 70 the dog licensing fee is waived, however late fees still apply.
