The Wellesley girls tennis team beat Walpole, 5-0, at Walpole High School on Friday, April 29, to remain undefeated on the season.

After winning all of their singles and doubles matches on the day, Wellesley is now sitting at 7-0 at the time of printing - including an impressive 4-0 record on the road - at the top of the Herget division of the Bay State Conference.

If their season statistics are of any indication, the Wellesley girls are poised to continue their dominance going forward. The team is currently averaging a stingy 0.6 points allowed per game - the lowest among all Bay State Conference opponents. Natick sits second with a 0.7 PA/G average, albeit having played four fewer games and none away from home.

The Wellesley girls tennis team, coached by Alan Brazier, was rained out of its game at Weymouth High School on Monday, April 2. They return to action with a home game against Milton on Wednesday, April 4, before heading on a four-game road trip against Natick, Brookline, Norwood and Needham.
