Last year, the boys’ golf team had an even record of 8–8. They are currently about halfway through their season and hold a 5–4 record. They beat Westwood 231–238, lost to Hopkinton 254–247, beat Holliston 235–254, Millis 215–282, and Ashland 215–240. Then they took two losses to Dover-Sherborn at 231–215 and Norton 254–239. Last week, they beat Needham 227–235 and lost to Walpole 250–237.
“The 2026 Warrior Team is comprised of seven seniors, one junior, and four sophomores,” said Head Coach Ken McAuliffe. “Our season so far has been HOT and cold! But we have just played through our toughest schedule, and have a record of five wins and three losses, with the losses being by very slim margins!”

“We need three to four players to break 40 in a match to WIN,” he continued. “So far we have had an average of two that shoot below 40. They are two sophomores, Jackson Shaughnessy and Harrison Oremus, so our future looks good!”
“The rest of the season will show what we really are made of, as we need four more wins to qualify for the state tournament! We have the talent, we just have to perform the way I believe they can! All in all, a group of great kids, with good talent soon to be GREAT.”
The Warriors will be very busy this week as they try for those four more wins. Their match against Medway that was scheduled for this past Sunday was cancelled due to the weather. They were also scheduled to rematch Westwood this past Monday, if the weather held, before Dover-Sherborn yesterday. Today they will be playing Norwood at Norwood Country Club at 3:30. Then they will have a few days off before their next home match on Monday, October 5th at Brookmeadow Golf Club at 3:45.

On Wednesday the 7th, they will host Norwood at Ponkapoag Golf Course at 4:00. Their final home match of the year will be at Brookmeadow against Dedham at 3:45 on Thursday the 8th.
