The MedTen girls’ tennis team has had an impressive regular season. The girls polished off their 12-4 record on Thursday, May 25th against Holliston with a 4-1 to wrap up the regular season. It was the perfect way to celebrate their three seniors for senior night, just before the rain came in for some action that evening.

Junior captain Mary Palladino and senior captain Anna Scheck played at number one doubles in the competition and recorded 7-4 on their first set alongside a 6-4 record in their second set. It was an impressive sweep that added to the tally of their team’s win.
Scheck gave insight after the match on their impressive season so far and reflected on her time being on the MedTen team.

“It’s been awesome, all around it has been a great time, no matter what you are doing its been amazing. We are feeling very good about playoffs,” said Scheck.

Third Singles and senior captain Ceci Camm won both her sets as well, to add to MedTen’s success of the evening. She won her first set 6-2 and her second set 6-4. Since playing tennis ever since she was young she has been grateful to have had the opportunity to play with her teammates.

“Being on Medten is one of the best experiences of my life, everyone is so supportive and so nice. I just love it so much, when I’m down my teammates are there to cheer me on and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in high school,” said Camm.

The girls also celebrated their third senior on the team, Ella Thompson who has been the manager of the team this season. MedTen will advance into the playoffs, and you can check out their schedule on the Arbiter website.
