Despite having to battle through some non-ideal snowy and cold conditions, the Dover-Sherborn Regional High School cross country team made history on Sunday afternoon at the All-States meet in Westfield.
Led by junior Oliver Fried, the DS boys XC team finished fifth in the state, their best placement at All-States in school history, with 161 total points. Fried took home a fourth place individual finish. Rounding out the history-making team for DS were Scott Sirri, Oren Wiemeyer, John Fattore, Noah Guarini, Jacob Brown, and Will Brown.
Meanwhile, the DS girls finished 12th in the state, headlined by a No. 14 individual finish by Caitlin Britt. Rounding out the girls group for DS was Virginia Borths, Sophie Fallon, Charlotte Kinchla, Edith Rosbottom, Katherine Young and Irene Yang.
The DS boys finished the regular season 4-1 and the girls finished unbeaten at 5-0 to win the TVL Small title.
