The Dover Sherborn Soccer Club wrapped up another very successful season. 683 kids in grades pre-K - 8 participated in the program this spring. They had a lot of fun and a lot of winning games as well.
11 teams (Girls U 14 Avalanche, Girls U 12 Wildcats, Girls U11 Spirit, Girls U9 Rampage, Girls U9 Dash, Boys U14 Lightning, Boys U12 Panthers, Boys U12 Vipers, Boys U10 Dragons, Boys U9 Dynamo, Boys U9 Maddogs) were Section winners, meaning they were the top team in a field of six other teams.
At the time of printing, one team, the Boys U12 Jaguars, is headed to the town soccer State MTOC Championship Tournament on June 24-26. The program has been growing steadily the past few years, and the kids have a great time on the field while learning a tremendous amount about the game.
