As the pandemic-altered high school season continues in Dover-Sherborn, the Raiders began the inaugural Fall I athletic season this past week. Among this week's news and notes:
- Varsity golf teed off its season with a 233-214 victory against Norwood at Sassamon Trace in Natick on October 1. Senior captain Billy Rooney led the way, shooting one-over-par (33). All eight of Dover-Sherborn's golfers broke 40 through nine holes.
- On October 5, varsity golf defeated Norwood 235-238 at Norwood Country Club to earn the season sweep of the Mustangs.
- The reigning Division II state champion Dover-Sherborn field hockey team will begin its season on October 17 when the Raiders host Norwood at 2:30 p.m.
- Boys soccer will open its season at Norwood on October 17.
- Girls soccer opens up at home against Norwood on October 17 at 11:30 a.m.
- Both boys and girls cross-country open up their season on October 17 at Norwood at 8:30 a.m.
