The Dover-Sherborn boys lacrosse team has secured their spot as Central/East Division 3 Champions after a 17-12 win over Weston in the division finals.
During the regular season, the Raiders ended with an 8-7 win against Franklin, leaving the team with a 16-2 record for the regular season.
The Raiders entered the postseason with a first-round bye, and faced off against Ashland in the quarterfinals. The Raiders picked up a 19-7 win to advance and knock Ashland out of the playoffs.
Next on the playoff schedule was Groton-Dunstable in the semi-finals. The Raiders picked up a 12-4 win, keeping Groton-Dunstable well out of range for any chance of recovering.
Finally, the team faced Weston in the Central/East Division 3 Finals. The Raiders started off strong, with a goal within the first ten seconds of play. Despite several attempts by Weston to step up their game, Dover-Sherborn was quick to respond with more goals to keep the game out of reach for Weston.
On Tuesday, the Raiders faced Ipswich in the State Division 3 semi-finals.
