Greene’s field was a buzz last sunny Sunday afternoon at the Needham Farmer’s Market. With lots of goodies to share from various different colorful stands. There were kids playing around in the field, couples enjoying the atmosphere as a local member of the community enriched the air with music. It was fun for everyone.

With fruits and vegetables galore, the Needham Farmer’s Market provided a wide selection of choices from beets, carrots, corn, and even fresh-cut flowers perfect for brightening up the dining table. Alongside delicious goods, there were a few unique creative pop-ups like Joan Cameron’s pottery where she displayed pots, vases, plates, and more each with its own flare.

“I love coming here and meeting all the people. I love being able to share my work and getting to see all the people get excited about it. It is a good feeling, I love expressing and sharing stories, and their interest,” said Cameron.

Cameron has been selling her artwork for nearly ten years, starting off in making jewelry, she decided to pivot and make her own studio following her passion for pottery.

Across the way from the Farmer’s Market was another creative pop-up run by a mom and her daughter. EJJ has been selling its jewelry and beautifully crafted jackets for a year now and they absolutely love it. EJJ stands for the three generations that work together to create such beautiful items. Elizabeth, Jill, and Joyce Caggiano.

“We have been doing the three of us together for one year, but I have been sewing for three years. We have been selling at various Farmer’s Markets this summer, but the Needham Farmer’s Market is a wonderful community in a beautiful park. It’s fun, we really enjoy it,” said Caggiano.

Be sure to check out the Needham Farmer’s Market, and meet some lovely people with beautiful arrangements every Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm until Thanksgiving!
