A second round of grant funding for the Small Repair Grant Program has been announced. This program awards seniors and those with disabilities up to $4,000 to make health and safety improvements to their homes.
The grant is meant to cover a variety of home repairs and modifications including plumbing, carpentry, smoke and CO2 detectors, safety rails, tub seats, and other adjustments that can help improve the lives of residents.
To be eligible, applicants must own the residence in question, it must be their primary home, and they must intend to live in the home for the next 12 months.
