Quilt Show returning to Needham

The Quilt Show is returning to Needham. Every two years, members of Quinobequin Quilters from Needham, Newton, Wellesley, and surrounding towns present a two-day Quilt Show. The 2018 show will be held on Friday and Saturday, March 23 and 24, at the Masonic Lodge, 1101 Highland Ave, Needham. Over 120 beautiful quilts will be displayed, with styles that range from traditional quilts to art quilts.

Show visitors will be invited to vote for their favorite quilts – it is never an easy choice. The Quilters will again provide their popular Quilt Hunt activity for younger visitors, where children try to find shapes, patterns and symbols on quilts throughout the show. Several vendors will be present, selling fabric, quilt patterns and tools.

Quinobequin Quilters is a not-for-profit club which is open to anyone interested in the art of quilting. Proceeds from our show fund the speakers and activities at our monthly meetings. The club meets in Needham, but draws its membership from many of the towns in the western suburbs. In addition to educational and social programs, the club has an ongoing Comfort Quilt project, through which members make and donate quilts to charitable organizations.

Show hours are Friday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $7; children are admitted for free.
