The Children’s Department of the Needham Free Public Library is offering children ages 8 and up the unique opportunity to Skype with a NASA engineer. The event will begin with a 20 minute presentation about NASA’s plans for Mars and the Deep Space Exploration System (Orion and SLS). After the presentation, the engineer will answer questions and dialogue with the audience.
This event will take place on Tuesday, August 1 at 4 p.m. Registration is required. Arrive on time, as a quorum is required by NASA in order to begin. For more information, call the Children’s Library (781-455-7559, x204).
