The community is invited for a look at two possible innovations in voting processes, ranked choice voting and automatic voter registration, on Wednesday, January 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Broadmeadow School, 120 Broadmeadow Road.
Speakers will address modernizing the electoral process, explain ranked choice voting and automatic voter registration and how each could work, and discuss how these new systems might impact elections.
Attendees will hear from two experts on these systems, Adam Friedman, Executive Director of Voter Choice Massachusetts, and Jonathan Cohn of Progressive Massachusetts. A question and answer period will follow.
The event is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Needham and Progressive Needham. It is free and open to the public. For more information is available at https://lwv-needham.org or by emailing [email protected].
