The Needham Exchange Club marked its Annual Day of Service by focusing on the students of Needham, On Saturday, October 15, teams visited Hillside School and Pollard School to clean up, remove excess vegetation, limbs and trees and generally improve the usability of the courtyards and lots at the schools.
This was one of the many days of service the Exchange Club has dedicated to Needham over the years. Past projects included building a tot lot, buying and installing play equipment, painting and repairing town benches, cleaning trails and many other projects.
Committee Chairman Paul Deeley commented: “There was a very strong turnout by members of Exchange to participate in the projects. The work was coordinated with Needham Forestry and Parks Division. Many thanks to all for their fine work on behalf of Needham students.”
The Needham Exchange Club is open to new members who want to give back to the community and to be part of vibrant fellowship of Needham women and men who share that value.
