Eliot to host first Leprechaun Run

Eliot Elementary School’s first annual Leprechaun Run (5K) and Pot O’ Gold Mile (kids fun run) is scheduled for 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, at Cricket Field. The chip-timed 5K event is not limited to Eliot families; all are invited to participate. This is a run/walk meant for people of all ages. The Pot O’Gold “fun run,” a 1-mile loop designed for elementary school-aged children, will begin at 9:15.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Eliot Elementary School and support the Parent Teacher Council (PTC). Every teacher, parent and staff member is a part of the PTC, a group whose goal is to enhance the educational experience of every child and family at Eliot through cultural arts programming, teacher grants, and community-building activities.
