Boosters announce sticker drive

[ccfic caption-text format="plaintext"]

The Needham High School Boosters Club's annual Sticker Drive fundraiser begins the weekend of September 17-18. Needham High School student athletes will fan out all over Needham's neighborhoods, knocking on doors and asking residents for a contribution to help support the school's 75 athletic teams and 10 clubs. In return, they will receive a Rockets sticker.

The Boosters are an all volunteer, parent-run, non-profit organization. Micah Hauben, Director of Athletics at Needham High School, says: "The Boosters provide significant and important funding support for the operations and functions of the NHS athletics program. In addition to helping cover department and team level items, the group also serves the vital role of offsetting family waiver requests, preventing students from losing out on the opportunity to participate in the high school athletics program due to any financial hardships or issues. A number of the Boosters events present the student-athletes with the chance to get more involved in community outreach and service as well, including the annual fall sticker drive and winter Christmas tree sale."

All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. For more information about the Boosters, visit www.needhamhighschoolboosters.org.
