Medfield’s William Johnson has recently returned from a Make-A-Wish trip to see the World Cup of Power Soccer being played in Kissimmee, FL and take in the World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios down the street.
The Make-A-Wish team from MA/RI sent the Johnsons to stay at a private villa at the Give Kids the World Village, and were incredible hosts for the family’s visit.
Not only did William get to visit Universal between soccer games, his weeklong adventure included visits to all the parks at Disney and Sea World, as well.
Even though Team USA lost to France in the finals of the Cup, the week was, in a word, “Perfect,” according to William’s mother, Heidi. During his time in Flordia, William watched 10 different countries play his favorite sport for the Cup, went on his first roller coasters and flume rides with his brother’s help, and was given VIP treatment everywhere he went.
“We are so thankful for Sara, Laura, Amy, and the entire Make-A-Wish team from the MA/RI office who made this Wish come true for William!” enthused Heidi Johnson.
