Medfield TV has produced several programs, highlighting the town-wide elections that will take place on Monday, March 28. Residents will go to the polls at the Center at Medfield, 1 Ice House Rd., from 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. and before placing a vote can learn about the issues and the candidates thanks to the local cable access station.
Two short programs entitled, “Medfield Elections,” will remind residents to get out and vote on March 28 with a couple of School Committee seats, a Board of Selectmen seat, and Town Assessor, among the positions up for grabs.
The programs include Medfield High seniors Sam Denney, Andrea Nevins, and Sam Naumann and were created in conjunction with Town Clerk Carol Mayer, Medfield High social studies teacher Kevin Murphy and the staff at Medfield TV.
The spots are airing now but can also be viewed below.
In addition, Medfield TV has also produced “Meet the Candidates,” a series of interviews with the candidates running for office on March 28. Rather than hosting a night for residents to pose questions to the candidates, it was decided to create a program that will air on local television.
Medfield High students James Cawley, Charlotte Duffy, and Connor Haskell provided the interviews of the 11 town candidates, all of which are running unopposed, and Eileen DeSorgher, who is running for a state-appointed position as Executive Director of the Housing Authority.
