The 8th Annual Wish Maker event for the Medfield Food Cupboard has kicked off. As in previous years, "wishes" are being collected for clients of the Medfield Food Cupboard.
There have been a few changes this year as a result of the pandemic. The normal party usually hosted to celebrate the Wish Maker festivities cannot take place due to COVID-19 restrictions. Instead, donors are asked to bring items to one of the two drop-off locations. One is located at Park Street Books on 504 Main Street from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. The other can be found at Be Charmed on 70 North Street from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Those who wish to donate can find the sign-up and wishes here. All participants should select the items they wish to purchase. All donated gifts are asked to be unwrapped with the donor's name and gift number when dropped-off. Gift cards should not be worth more than $25.
The list for donations will close on December 9 to ensure all wishes are filled. All gifts need to be dropped off at one of the two locations by December 12 so they can be packaged and delivered to clients.
