21 Finalists Announced For ‘Sing Off’ at Medfield High

After auditions in front of a panel of judges, 21 Medfield High and Blake Middle School students were chosen as finalists for the second annual Sing Off to be held at Medfield High on Thursday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m.

Sing Off is a take on the popular program, “American Idol,” and will pit these 21 singers in a competition to see who is the best in Medfield. Each of the finalists receives professional coaching prior to the competition with the coaches acting as judges in the finale.

In addition, there will be performances by Boston College’s award-winning a cappella group, The Bostonians, featuring Medfield High alum Paul Wagenseller.

The finalists, as chosen by the judges, are as follows:

The event is supported in part by a grant from the Medfield Cultural Council, which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

Tickets for the Sing Off are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. They can be purchased at Park Street Books or online at medfieldmusicassociation.com.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Medfield Music Association.
