Sherborn is breathing a sigh of relief today after a 17-year-old girl has been found safe, less than 24 hours after she was reported missing.
The girl, who was not named by Sherborn Police, had last been seen at home at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 7. She was reported missing at 6:30 p.m., prompting police to issue a physical description and photos in search of her.
The situation was rectified by late Friday morning, with Detective James Godinho reporting in an email that she had been located safely.
