Dover residents who receive their water from Colonial Water Company via the Draper Road, Francis Street, and Knollwood Wells are being advised to boil their water before using. This announcement comes after E. coli was found in four samplings collected on June 10. Those who receive their water from the Chickering Drive and Springdale Farms' wells are unaffected.
Those using the affected wells are asked to dispose of all ice, beverages, uncooked foods, and formula made with tape water collected on or after June 5th. Residents are advised to boil their water or use bottled water for drinking, ice, food preparation, brushing teeth, and washing dishes until further notice.
