The Dover Town Library is taking one step back to reopening to regular operations. In an announcement posted on the library's website on July 2, trustees of the Dover Town Library laid out new procedures designed to ensure that items can be borrowed and returned safely. As of July 6, residents can return materials taken out from the Dover Town Library in the collection bins located outside the library. Members of the library staff will be there to assist with any items being returned.
Starting July 20, items will be available for pick-up or drop-off through curbside service. All items taken out during quarantine will be returned July 31, regardless of their original due date.
Library patrons can also use the Minuteman Library Network app (MLNMobile) to request books, select a pick up time, and let staff know they have arrived.
Questions about due dates, non-Dover materials, and other concerns can be answered by library staff at (508-785-8113, x2). More information about these changes and the announcement, as well as an FAQ about reopening, can be found here.
