Erik Cohen, 16, a sophomore from Dover, won gold in all of his swimming events last weekend at Boston University. His events were the 4x25m freestyle relay, 100m freestyle, and 50m freestyle. He swims with the Special Olympics Chapter in Brookline, MA, where he also attends high school. Erik has won gold in all his individual events since he began swimming competitively last year. He hopes to continue his streak at the state event at Harvard University in June.
When asked about his wins, Erik simply said that he was glad he didn’t puke.
