Dover Unplugged assembling Care Kits

Dover Unplugged is hosting an evening for community service on Friday, December 6, to prepare 150 Care Kits for clients of Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. The Care Kits will include knit hats, fleece gloves, socks, hand warmers, writing journals, personal care products, snacks and a handwritten holiday card.

The Care Kits will be assembled in Fellowship Hall at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church, 18 Springdale Avenue in Dover. Individuals may sign up to arrive at 6:30, 7:00 or 7:30 p.m. A suggested donation of $10 per care kit will help cover costs. Registration is required; individuals may sign up here www.saintdunstansma.org. Any questions may be directed to Carol Chirico at [email protected].

Over 11,000 homeless individuals are cared for by Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program (BCHCP) each year. BCHCP is committed to ensuring that every one of these individuals has access to comprehensive health care, from preventative dental care to cancer treatment. BCHCP clinicians, case managers, and behavioral health professionals work in more than 45 locations to deliver the highest quality health care to some of our community’s most vulnerable—and most resilient—citizens. BHCHP provides care without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, military service, national origin, immigration status, genetic information or marital status.
