The sun shined on Dover-Sherborn High School seniors on Thursday, June 2, as graduation exercises were held outside.

The procession began as the D-S Concert Band, conducted by Robert Martel, played “Pomp and Circumstance.” After filing in, the students were led by class Vice President Mary Charron in a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance before the Vocal Ensemble performed the National Anthem. Robin Hunter and Charles Yon, Selectmen from Dover and Sherborn, respectively, then began the proceedings with a greeting to the assembled. They were followed by a welcome from Andrew Mallett, D-S class President.

After performances from vocal groups and the presentation awards, John Smith, Headmaster, presented the class. After Interim Superintendent William McAlduff, Jr. accepted the class, Michael Lee, Chair of the Regional School Committee presented the D-S graduating seniors with their diplomas.

Andrew Mallett than gave the graduation pronouncement before the seniors walked out to Grundman’s “Grand March.”

Congratulations to the Dover-Sherborn High School class of 2016!
