The Dover Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in 1947 to promote community spirit and community service, is best known for the yearly college scholarships it provides to graduating Dover seniors. However, from time to time, the Foundation has funded other important town projects such as equipment for schools, Parks and Recreation, and Scout, choral and garden club projects.
This year, the Foundation has invited any Dover organization to submit a request for funding for projects and/or equipment up to $2,000. The applications will be available via www.thedoverfoundation.org on or before March 15, with a deadline of May 1. Applicants will be notified by May 15 if their projects will be funded.
