Boston Haunted Walk returns for seventh year

Shriners Children’s Boston will host its seventh annual Boston Haunted Walk, a family-friendly Halloween fundraiser featuring a one-mile walk and activities for participants of all ages.

The event will include entertainment, breakfast treats, face painting, a live coloring mural, a raffle and a costume contest. Participants can register individually, start a team or make a donation to support the event.

Proceeds will benefit pediatric burn care, reconstructive plastic surgery and cleft lip and palate care at Shriners Children’s Boston. The hospital provides care regardless of a family’s ability to pay or insurance status.

Registration is $25 for adults, while children under 12 can participate for free. Participants are encouraged, but not required, to fundraise, with a suggested fundraising goal of $500.

The event is seeking to raise $600,000 to support the hospital’s pediatric programs. According to organizers, donations help provide specialized care and services that can make a lasting difference in the lives of children and their families.

Community members can participate in the walk, form a team or contribute to the fundraising effort.
