The New England Irish Harp Orchestra will be performing at Epiphany Parish, 62 Front Street in Walpole on Sunday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m.
NEIHO has been delighting audiences since 2005. The group performs traditional Irish tunes and original pieces sure to delight senses and fill hearts. The orchestra members range in age from the mid-20s to the mid-80s. Members of the group come from Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
The Irish harp (also known as a Celtic or folk harp) is small to medium-sized, usually designed for traditional music, and can be played solo or with small groups. It is prominent in Welsh, Breton, Irish, Scottish and other Celtic cultures.
The concert is open to the public. A suggested donation of $10.00 will be accepted at the door.
