To the Editor,
I am writing again to once again thank our Dover police department for its committment to the members of our community.
Two months ago, I wrote a letter to thank the Fire and Police Departments for rescuing a dog stranded on the ice on the Charles River and for investigating very promptly a possibly suspicious truck.
Now I am thanking the police for helping us get our sick 95-pound dog in our car so we could take him to the vet. The dog was suddenly unable to walk and we just couldn't get him in the car ourselves. He is thankfully back to himself again after care from our wonderful veterinarian.
And I noticed in the D-S press that our police helped a 91-year old woman remove a necklace.
Our police help us with small and large problems....thank you!
