Patriots Window Art at Decor and More

By Hometown Weekly Reporter

Those driving down High St. may have noticed a store’s windowfront art that changes season to season. Most recently, Decor and More has traded in their holiday reindeer mural for a Drake Maye tribute piece, painted by Boston artist Joan Aylward, aka “ChalkBOS”. While all over New England, people have been rooting for Drake Maye and the Patriots in their unexpected climb to the Super Bowl this season, Westwood residents have been especially proud of Maye now that he’s their neighbor. Leading up to the Super Bowl, it was hard to go a day without seeing someone sporting a Patriots jersey or an “I heart Drake Maye” t-shirt, and Decor and More wanted to join in on cheering on Maye and his teammates. The window features a drawing of Maye holding up one finger in celebration and the phrase “A-Maye-zing Superbowl!” written in big red and blue letters. And despite Sunday’s loss, it really was an amazing season for the Patriots.

Decor and More is a business that has been in Westwood for over 30 years. Run by mother and daughter Candace Haase and Melisa Lucier, they sell home decor and gifts as well as offering interior design services such as consultations, upholstery work, custom furniture, and installation services. Haase and Lucier both hold degrees in interior design and call themselves “a true family business,” explaining that Candace’s husband Art is also involved in installation projects.
