The Westwood Young Women’s Club is pleased to present the second concert in its popular Free Summer Concert Series, featuring Vanessa Trien and the Jumping Monkeys on Monday, July 21 at 6:00 PM at the Gazebo at the Westwood Council on Aging (60 Nahatan Street).
This NAPPA Award-winning children’s performer brings her signature blend of catchy tunes and high-energy audience participation to Westwood. Families can expect to dance, sing along, and enjoy favorites like the wildly popular “Tickle Monster,” a song that has crowds tiptoeing before erupting in laughter.
With four Parents’ Choice Awards and performances at venues from Lincoln Center to local libraries, Trien has spent over a decade perfecting the art of getting families moving to her folk-pop tunes. The Boston-area native (and Harvard Graduate School of Education alum) creates shows that are equal parts concert and playful learning experience.
