After longtime Town Manager Kate Fitzpatrick retired last week, Katie King was officially sworn in as the Town of Needham’s new Town Manager. She is only the second person to hold the role in the town’s history.
Having served as Deputy Town Manager for the past five years, King has seamlessly transitioned into her new position. This week, she led and participated in multiple meetings with Town staff and stakeholders, including two community listening sessions on Tuesday for the Pollard Middle School Project. Her first Select Board meeting as Town Manager will take place on July 22nd, where a ceremonial swearing-in will be held.
