The art show "Reflections" kicked off Needham’s 2025 cultural calendar with an opening reception on Sunday, January 5, at the historic Gorse Mill Gallery, located at 31 Thorpe St. The exhibit features a range of paintings, from beautiful local landscapes to abstract works, and will remain open for visitors through January 27.
The event brought together five women artists from Needham and surrounding areas: Avital Skolnick, Paula Schatz, Ruty Bakor, Tobey Finkel, and Tina Sachs. The gallery buzzed with energy as art enthusiasts, community members, and local artists gathered to view the artwork, engage with the creators, and celebrate the artistic talent in the region.
Visitors are encouraged to explore the exhibit during the gallery's regular visiting hours: Monday and Tuesday, 12–6 p.m.; Wednesday and Thursday, 11–5 p.m.; and Friday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. "Reflections" provides an opportunity to connect with art and community in a meaningful way, making it a standout cultural event to start the year.
